Could very well be a problem with Activesync that has not been optimized to
run with BETA software. Once Office 2007 is released, I expect most
problems to have been sorted, with only the most esoteric ones remaining to
be solved.

| I also found that Outlook '07 Beta through three activesync versions
| (3.8,
| 4.1, and 4.2) all do not sync down to PocketPC Smartphone 2003
| (samsung i600) but do sync up, what you also notice is sometimes in
| outlook the note when you save it dissappears when the phone is in
| the cradle i've even changed Activesync settings to always sync down
| to the handheld... anyone w/ advice pls advise, personally I believe
| its a problem w/ Outlook '07, thoughts?

Hello All,
I don't know how much this may help, but I have been having a similar
problem with a Blackberry handheld, same symptoms at least. For that
problem, it had to do with the fact that Outlook 2007 handles the note
fields differently than earlier versions. (If I remember correctly, it
uses the new Word format.) None of the sync programs are designed to
handle this yet, but Outlook 2K7 is still backwards compatable with the
old format, which is why the devices can still successfully sync up.
(For the Palm users out there, apparently there is an upgrade to
(again, IIRC) Intellimirror that says that it'll work with Outlook
2K7.)
Good luck,
Aressel
