One computer can't open web site

A client of mine is having a problem with one of his office computers. It
can't open the client's own web site. All of the other computers in the
office have no trouble successfully resolving "norlingcpa.com" to the
client's web site. However, this one computer gets either an error that the
web site doesn't exist or that the site is under construction. My first
thought was that there was a problem with the dns or something of that sort.
However, the machine has no trouble getting to Yahoo, Google or any other
web site I've tried so far. Can anyone think of what is set up incorrectly
on either the machine itself or the client's router that would cause such a
problem?

The troublesome machine is running Windows XP and the browser is IE 6. They
don't keep up to date religiously wtih all of the very latest service packs
but they do update on an irregular basis.

Check C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc for a file named HOSTS with no
extension. (Not Hosts.sam)
Make sure Windows is set to show hidden files and folders and is NOT set to
hide extensions for known file types.
If HOSTS exists, rename it to HOSTS.OLD
Reboot an try again.

Or, In a Cmd window, enter
ipconfig /flushdns
then clear your TIF also, and re-boot.

Thank you. I will try that. Would you mind explaining to me what you suspect
may behappening and what doing this will accomplish? Is this behavior
something you've seen before?

The HOSTS file did not help. What do you mean 'clear your TIF'? Any other
suggestions?
