one beep at startup for P4P800Deluxe - is this a problem diagnosis?or normal?

Please help.

I just purchased a new system with RAID-1, 1GIG RAM, and P4 2.8 GHz, and 3
optical drives.

After installing some hardware software for DVD and TV tuner card I noticed
that when I start up my computer by pressing the ON button, I hear within
seconds one beep.

What does the one beep mean ? Is it normal ?

In the motherboard manual somewhere I found a page that says AMI BIOS beep
codes, 1 beep refers to memory refresh timer error.

But at the same time isn't the system supposed to beep once at start up?

Please help me - what could be the problem if indeed it is a problem.

For each USB device connected you are one short beep.
