? on SUS

I have a pretty easy question I think I know the answer
to. Does SUS only download and install Critical Updates
and Service Packs. It doesn't install other updates
right???


Also another question is how can deploy my Microsoft
office updates to everyone here without having to go
around to each individual computer?????

I'm not sure about the first question, but what we do for
office updates is create and Administrative Share for
Office and we updated all clients to look to that for the
files they need, then you can apply updates to the Admin
share then run a script on a schedule or whatever to have
the clients re-sync with the Admin share. Cmd line to run
on clients:
msiexec /i \\Server_name\Share\Path\Disk1\data1.msi
REINSTALL=ALL REINSTALLMODE=vomu /qb+
This does a quiet install of all new updates applied to
Admin Share. It's a bit of work to set up, but then it can
save a lot of running to all computers.
