On-Screen Keyboard

I am running Windows XP Pro on a custom built touchpad PC AND without an
external keyboard. I have activated passwords for logins which require an
on-screen keyboard to enter.

I have seen touchscreen/tablet PCs which automatically bring up an on-screen
keybaord at this point. However, this PC does not do that.

What can I do to get this feature activated at bootup independent of user
login so that I can log in without external keyboard? Remember this computer
is currently not running Tablet PC edition, but rather basic XP Pro.

Many Thanks for any help.

Hi,

Only tablet pcs have the feature to bring the keyboard on logon. Earlier
touch screens were only for interactive applications and not for the whole
system, hence this meant that the starting phase had to use an external
keyboard for the logging to the system.

Please contact the vendor of the touchscreen monitor to see if they have
any instructions for bringing up the on screen keyboard on start up.
