OLK folder

Ruth

Hi,

I have received an Excel document attached to a mail.
I have opened the document from the mail.
I went to File and Save as and saved to an OLK folder in
Temporary Internet Files.
When I do a search for the file or the folder they cannot
be found.
I can't see the folder in the Temporary Internet Files
folder either.
I have selected Show Hidden Files and Folders in Windows
Explore folder settings.
The path is C:\Documents and Settings\*username*\Local
Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLKB4.

Any ideas about where the folder or file went?

Thanks and Regards,

Ruth

It is a special folder which you can only access by typing the address in
the address bar. Note that this folder is cleared when needed or when you
manually choose to clear the Temporary Internet Files folder. Storing data
in this folder is waiting for disaster.

It's a hidden folder - to browse it you need to type the path in the address
bar.
