Hello,

In c++, changing the ole timeout delay is achieved by the following code:

COleMessageFilter *m_ole_msg_filter;
m_ole_msg_filter=AfxOleGetMessageFilter();
m_ole_msg_filter->SetMessagePendingDelay(timeout);

where timeout beeing passed as parameter to SetMessagePendingDelay is the delay in ms.

By the way, I still didn't found how to implement this timeout in VBA... if somebody knows...

Best regards.

Almost the same way: Look in your c++ header files for function
declaration, and copy API calls into VB code, like
Declare Function MyExternalProcedure Lib "hostlib.dll" Alias
"ExternalFunctionName" (parameters) As Result
