OLE server Error in Access

I have a database with equipment as a table. I have made a form from that
table. One of the the fields is picture. On the form, I am trying to place a
picture for each piece of equipment with the rest of the information. When I
try to insert object, I keep getting this error:

A Problem occurred while Microsoft Access was communicating with the OLE
Server or ActiveX Control

Close the OLE Server and restart it outside of Microsoft Access. Then try
the original operation again in Microsoft Access.

I have closed everything down and rebooted my computer. Didn't change. I
can't seem to find anything in the help files that tells me why I might be
getting this error or how to restart the OLE Server. Can anyone help?

Hi guys,

I have same error with Access installed on new W2K SP4 server installed from
Select (version MDAC 2.7 RTM). Same database runs OK on second server having
MDAC 2.5 SDK installed three years ago from the box and upgraded later up to
SP4 as well . I installed MDAC 2.8 but I have still the same. Should I
reinstall W2K from this old CD ? Auto correcttion is off and I did the
Allen's procedure but it didn't help. Thanks in advance.
