OL2003:changing domain password asks for pop3 password?

Hi all.

At our company we have this situation:
NT4 SP6 domain, exchange server 5.5 SP4, Windows XP SP1 and outlook2003 SP1
on clients (with 2 accounts for each user: one for exchange, one for a
foreign POP3 account).
When a user is asked to change his password at logon because it has expired,
outlook forgets the pop3 password (it is not the domain logon password) and
asks for it.
Is there a way to avoid this? POP3 passwords don't change frequently...

Thanks
Max

We have the very same problem (but without an exchange server) with our POP3
accounts. I believe though the problem lies with a fresh install of Office
2003. We have a couple machines that had windows XP / Office XP and they do
not have the problem after being upgraded to Office 2003. New XP pro
machines with New installs of Office 2003 do have the problem though.

Please post back if you find a solution. I saw someone posted they had an
open incident about it with MS, but I haven't ever seen a repsonse back with
a solution.
