OL 2003 .pst file giving error at 3.99 gb size

Hi There,

Im using OL2003 which pst file size is 3.99GB.
Now getting the error " 0x8004010d: the drive that contains your data file
is out of disk space. Empty Deleted Items folder or create space on the drive
by removing some of your files."
Is there a issue of FAT32/ NTFS file system bc my pst file is in the FAT32
file system drive?
Is the OL2003's pst file size limit is different for NTFS/ FAT32 file system?
What if i convert my existing FAT32 file system to NTFS, will it resolve the
error i am getting?

Thanks

There's a 4 Gig file size limit on FAT 32.
Converting to NTFS will overcome that but I'm not sure how Outlook will
behave having reached that limit. I would think it *should* be ok. You
should check in a Windows group for any possible issues with a FAT 32 to
NTFS conversion.

Hi Bill,

I converted the file system to NTFS format (fortunatly, my pst was not on
the OS partition). So i formatted the whole drive to NTFS & then copied the
pst file to its previous drive. The error is gone for now. Lets c whats
happens in future :)
