Offline Files

I have a problem with enabling offline files with internet explorer, when I ope
start | control panel | folders option | offline files, then select offline files, click on, an error message appear
Offline files cannot be enabled, the operation completed successfully, but they don't work

what should I do to solve this error?

Are you sharing files on a network?

Otherwise I suspect that this is not what you want to do.
