Offline Files & XP Home Edition

I have two laptops I connect to my home network and wish
to have them both using a synchronised set of folders on
my server running W2K. The laptop running XP professional
works fine. However, the latop running XP Home Edition
doesnt seem to have any offline options or synchronisation
options.

Hope someone can sort this out for me.

that's right only XP pro as offline files feature

however, offline does work if XP home is the server and
the offline files are being replicated on an XP Pro
machine.

Any SMB-compliant file server can function in this manner (Samba
included)...
