download page..... what is delaying AMD?

I guess you will have to wait til the next general release. If you want or
need the latest driver, though, it is available as a hotfix.

"Note: This driver is provided as is and is not supported by AMD. It has not
completed full AMD testing, and is only recommended for users experiencing
the particular issue described.
This Hotfix improves overall performance and stability. The Hotfix includes
the Display Driver and Catalyst Control Center."
