OfficeJet 7300, no toolbox

I cannot get the HP toolbox or other utilities to work with my 7300 and
Vista. I am using the drivers downloaded from HP, along with that
unofficial patch so the duplexer works properly.

If I try to 'Service this device' from Printing Preferences/Services, I
get a popup that says 'Unable to perform the operation', with a title of
'Help with Printer Lights'. (?!?!?!?!)

If I try to use Solution Center, and use 'Settings/Print
Settings/Printer Toolbox', nothing happens. Even Printer Settings does
not work.

From the Solution Center status screen, clicking on 'View Ink Levels'
does nothing.

The printer is connected via USB. It works fine otherwise. I can access
Scanner and Fax settings through Solution Center.

In the past, the toolbox was just an EXE file that was called. Does
anybody know where and what name it is for this printer?

I found it. It's C:\Program Files\HP\Digital Imaging\bin\hpqtbx01.exe

To use it, you need to follow it with the friendly name of the printer
(from Settings/printers)

HPQTBX01 "HP OfficeJet 7300 series"
