office xp and printing html sent messages

i just started using office xp and i cannot print a sent
item anymore by highlighting it in the sent messages list
and clicking on the print icon; if i do that, a window
appears that asks me to "open the html message" in order
to print it. that happens even if my message is written
in rich text but it is in response to an html message,

How can I change that?

you can't ....HTML emails must be viewed before printing.

Microsft recognise this to be a problem (in 2002) and didn't bother to fix
