office update in toshiba laptop

When I try to install office update SR-1(downloaded from web), it asks me to
put the office professional CD. The laptop was came with Toshiba install
CD1,2 and Spanwork CD, they all are not working. the laptop doed have the
certification for window XP professional, can anyone help me with this? Thank

Did your laptop come with Office pre-installed? (Unusual....)

And you didn't get an Office CD? (Even more unusual - I didn't know Office
CAME in OEM versions...)

no a seperate CD for office. I thought it is in those CD with other file, but

As I said, I wasn't aware that Office came in OEM - I suspect that what you
have is not a "proper" version of Office. You might check on the Office
website as to whether there is an Administrator download of the Service
pack - be warned though, it will be a BIG file....

I am surprise the Toshiba give the unproper CD and I have noway to get the
help from they.
