Office programs crash during mail merge

Hi,

Everytime I try to create a new mail merge document using Word or Publisher
to our main Access 2000 database the office program crashes.

Existing merge documents work Ok. I have created a new merge document to
another DB without problems.

I suspect that there is possibly a conflict with the Relationships in the
database that only seems to cause problems when creating a new mail merge
document.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

See my post above, re: Mail Merge: Word/Access ok but....

I'm very green on all this myself, but among my problems I did find early
with my mail merge problem that what I thought was the program crashing was a
parameter box opening up behind the active window where I didn't see it and
wasn't yet expecting it, preventing anything further from happening until a
parameter was input. Do you have the mail-merge accessing a parameter query?
Even if not, perhaps an error of some kind may be opening a parameter box
behind your active window.
