Office Outlook 2003 bug?

One of my employees is having a rather strange occurance with his microsoft
office outlook 2003. When he sends E-mails, forwards E-mails, or replies to
E-mails, the very top toolbar duplicates itself, literally. Even the name of
the toolbar is called "Standard" cannot be removed from the toolbar editor. I
have updated his outlook with service pack 3 and all updates available and
still the issue occurs. After a while, the outlook will accumulate these
toolbars up onto the point outlook becomes barely useable. Closing out
outlook and reopening it will remove all but one additional duplication of
the outlook standard toolbar, truncated into a single box in the corner,
which can be opened fully by clicking reset on the toolbar editor with the
said duplication checked. I'm stumped. I couldn't find any cases at microsoft
covering this and it was hard enough trying to find a forum in this mess of
forums here at microsoft lol. Anyone know what's up?

Sounds like possibly toolbar corruption. Close Outlook and search for and
delete the outcmd.dat file. Make sure to include hidden files and folders in
the search.

Reopen Outlook and hopefully this has resolved the issue. Let me know. Good
luck!

The duplicated toolbars disappeared. Hopefully they stay gone. Thanks K.
Orland!

I wish I knew how this file managed to get corrupted. Hmm.
