Hey there,

I have about 300 checkboxes that I had to copy and paste down one column in an Excel spreadsheet. The problem is that I have to right-click on each one and choose "format control" to re-point each one to the cell it's in. Does anyone know how I can switch them all so that they're all pointing to the cell they're occupying without doing it manually on each one?

  1. Select the cell or cell range to copy and choose Edit→Copy.
  2. Click in the cell where you want to paste and then choose Edit→Paste Special.
  3. In the Paste section of the dialog, select the option that you need.
  4. Click OK.

I actually just cleared all of them, then made one checkbox but then went into the "format control" and cleared the cell information. Then I copied and pasted it about 10 times and then did a whole select so I was getting a much larger number each time. Then each one didn't have any cell data attached.

This works but the true/false doesn't. That didn't matter to me anyway, but so people know...
