Yes though you may have to set a compatability mode for
some things to work, which is easy to do.

I've actually used Word...the 1995 version on XP without any problems at all

I am having a problem printing an office 97 doc. message said 97 was not
compatable. this is on a new dell w/xp & I have done the compatablity thing.
How can I get my printer(hp6762c) to work? I am using a cable to connect to a
usb port & the pc reqognizes the connection!
