Office 2002 in Vista

I transferred Office 2002 to a new Dell computer with Vista Home Premium
pre-loaded as the OS. Now I can't get Outlook to load my incoming e mails.
I also can't open the "set new e mail accounts." I get an "Operation Failed"
message when I click Send/Receive.
Can Office 2002 even run on Vista?

Office 2002 is not supported in Vista. Some things may work, but anything
that doesn't will not be fixed.

How did you transfer it? If you use the easy transfer option it can cause
problems. First, do a detect and repair on office (reinstall it) then make a
new profile in control panel, mail. It should work, if you can tolerate some
issues.... I'd personally go with Vista's Mail and Calendar if an upgrade
to 2007 is not feasible.

Isn't that just Outlook Express Lite? Which makes it something like
the fourth root of Outlook?
