Office 2000 Pro vs Win XP

I can not get Office 2000 Professional to install on
Windows XP. It begins to install and stops and says that
it can not find fonts such as bkant.ttf (and other Win 98
fonts. So I can check retry which does nothing or cancel
that uninstalls. Some smart person knows how to fix this
I hope?

Try disabling the antivirus software and install again.

Note: This question really belongs in a forum other than Windows XP. Also,
Office installation problems are a free service call with Microsoft. Try
their support number and one of their techs can help you through it as it
can be tricky to get around the various install issues that happen from
time to time.
