Offer SQL Export ease with Access as a Design tool

SQL is a powerful and full featured database. The problem with SQL is the
lack of good GUI tools to create the database itself.

Microsoft Access should provide an easy export of its data structure into or
create an export file for SQL users.

The Access front end is wonderful and can be used to design exceptional
databases, but the engine is limited to few users.

Users of Access who could export, with ease, to SQL could design their
database framework in Access then port out the data to SQL for the workload
intended.

SQL Server has a very nice GUI for creating databases, with features that I
wish were in Access! Are you perhaps confusing MSDE (Microsoft SQL Server
2000 Desktop Engine) with SQL Server? I'll agree that MSDE doesn't have a
GUI, but that was intentional (in order to keep the price to zero). However,
if you've got them, you can use SQL Server tools with MSDE.

As well, there is an Upsizer that will convert Access databases to SQL
Server
