Offer Remote Assistance does not work until remote host tries.

I've looking through the previous posts and other sites. I am attempting to
use an "Offer remote assistance shortcut" However I consistantly recieve "The
remote serve machines does not exist or is unavailable." or occasionally
"Automation server can't create object".

Now if I go to one of these machines and try the shortcut back to the
original machine that will work and then the original machine will work as
well. This is until either machine is rebooted and then I recieve the errors
again. I've gone to group policy and gpedit.msc for these machines to confirm
the settings of confirming the firewall was off, and execeptions were also
there. And the Remote assistance GP objects were also enabled and designated
a helper.

Anyone run into this and hopefully an answer?

Thank You

You are seeing some confusion caused by the presence of a NAT device on your
system.
For example, if you take it to http://whatismyip.com, it will report your
'actual' IP, and if you go to start run and type CMD, then at the prompt:
IPCONFIG, you get your 'local' IP.
The 'invite' issued by the Remote Assistance app fails to see the
NAT.(probably your router)
