OEM Product Key

Is it possible to get my Product Key that I have registered emailed to me? I
have purchased an OEM copy of Windows XP Professional around 2 years ago.
However this morning my PC was doing a lot of Hard Drive access to basically
where it locked up. I had turned the power off to the PC and now the PC will
not boot past the Windows XP loading screen. It keeps getting a blue screen
no matter which Safe mode or what not I try.

So I tried doing the repair install but for one I do not have a floppy drive
to even use a disk that it keeps asking for since I installed it originally
from a CD. Anyway I went ahead and re-installed the software from my CD
however im unable to locate my Product Key. I found the CD envelope that it
came with even the start up guide that the CD envelope is glued too. However
there is no product key on the book or enevelope. If I remember correctly it
was just on a loose sheet of paper with the Proof of purchase. Yet I haven't
been able to find it, So im asking if you could kindly dig through your
registration records for my Product Key that I registered with initially
installed it around 2 years ago.

You are not writing to Microsoft. These are public newsgroups, not MS tech
support.

If you purchased an OEM copy of XP, the cd key was on the COA sticker on the
cellophane wrapper. You were supposed to pace the sticker on the machine
when you loaded and activated XP.

Replacement of CD or Product Keys
To replace a CD or Product Key, you must contact PSS. To locate the
appropriate phone number for your product, visit the following Microsoft Web

Down load the .iso for Ultimate Boot CD for Windows and burn the CD,
then boot from that CD, it has a key finder program that will enable
you to recover your Product key.
