Odd xp screen

Windows XP Home

- Loaded with viruses / malware / spyware. (clean now). Here is the odd thing:

On shut down, I got a flash of an odd screen. Making the AV run a boot time
check places the screen in the background and thus got a good long look at
it. It's a picture of a young muslim looking male and on it it says R.I.P.
Mousa. Looking online, I found no other instance of anyone having such a
screen. I looked into changing the logon / logoff screens for XP but this
would not seem to do it since the XP screens are still there and intact. What
is this screen?

Tips? Suggestions? Any idea what screen I would have to change to get this
back to normal for a client?

My thanks,

Clean now? A re-install would be good at this point.. :)

Are you the only user of the computer?
Check your My Pictures folder, and those of any other users, and check the
screen savers. I did a quick Google for R.I.P. Mousa and found a couple of
blogs regarding the death of a young man.

I am almost always opposed to doing clean reinstallations. But in a
situation like this, when it is described as "loaded with viruses / malware
/ spyware," and especially when something like this occurs after he thinks
it's "clean now," I'm with you entirely. I recommend the same thing.
