Odd behavior. Anyone?

After my system (XP Pro SP1 w/ all current updates) would run for a while,
right clicking on anything would either result in no shortcut menu or
produce an error sound. This would continue until I shut down any other app
that was running. Then, eventually, the who OS became unresponsive. I
finally reinstalled yesteday, and so far, so good. Has anyone else seen this
behavior, and if so, what the hell? FWIW, did a virus scan (negative),
remove all the spyware Spybot could find, ran cleanup, defragged, all of
which did nothing. At first I suspected hardware, i.e., inadequate power
supply (300W) after upgrading my video card to an FX5700, or heat issues.
Now I'm just stumped. TIA!

Heat and voltage crash computers not make them run slow.

Probably spywear but as you reinstalled we'll never know.

Well, as I said, I run Spybot regularly, and it rarely (if ever) comes up
with spyware since I started using a wireless router with the firewall
enabled ( I know, I know, that's not 'real' protection). And it wasn't
slowness I was talking about. Did you even read my post?

I call that slow so obviously I did. What would a router have to do with spywear. They are unrelated. Spywear is based on retarded people like you installing crap. Users install spywear and give it permission.

As you are such a moron, what does it matter. It's a dammed stupid question by a idiot.

William Hutchinson 1772- 1846 died. Tell me what he died off.

So stop spamming your drivel here cretin.
