Oce 5100 ancient plotter - drivers?

N

Ned

Ive just acquired an (ancient) Oce 5100 plotter that's in perfect working
order, to help me print off cad plans.
It connects via a rs232 or mini centronics interface. Ive got the rs232
cable for it but not a centronics one.

I need some drivers for it and Im not too sure whether it's all going to
work like a regular printer anyhow. Maybe someone knows about printing via
rs232 and can offer advice on getting it up and running.

The test print-off (when unconnected to a PC) says the following. Im
confused about it and Ive no idea where this information is coming from.

"The information below describes your printer driver and port settings
Printer Name: HP DraftPro
Printer Model: HP DraftPro
Driver name: hpplot.drv
driver version:4.00
Color support: yes
port name:\\eng\plotterq_1
data format: raw
Files used by this driver
c:\windows\system\hpplot.drv (4.00.950)
c:\windows\system\hpplot.hlp"

Im running XP.
Ive done a google search and not come up with anything definate
