NVIDIA drivers on Dell 8100 laptop

I'm having ALOT of trouble updating my NVIDIA Drivers, as I've been reading
all the posts, it appears alot of others have, too. I have the GeForce2 Go
driver; something I download screwed it up, and I cannot download the latest
driver from Dell Support (of course, Windows Update doesn't work, either!)

I went to NVIDIA.com, but don't see the GeForce2 Go drivers available. Does
anybody have any advice for me if another driver will work?

Better yet, how do I determine what driver is compatible with my video card?

You should have NO problem via HTTP or FTP getting the GeForce2 drivers from Dell.

I did experience problems with the most-recent version of GeForce2 Go from
Dell's site. Even spent a couple of days with Dell Tech Support, but to no
avail.

Since writing my original post, I download one version back and finally with
success (keeping fingers crossed - version 4.4.2.5) Had been trying to
download version 4.4.8.2, but it just wouldn't work.

Think I'm leaving well enough alone for now!

As a side note, don't ever get drivers from the windows update site. Go
to the hardware manufacturer's site.
