When attempting to ugrade XP Home Edition to XP
Professional, the Windows XP Upgrade Compatibility, stops
the install as follows:

NVIDIA AGP filter
=================
The currently installed driver for the NVIDIA NForce
device is not compatible with this version of Microsoft
Windows. Setup will not be able to complete.

I have downloaded the latest NVIDIA driver but the
compatibility warning is still there. Actually, my
NVIDIA driver is a GeForce 4MX 420. I have checked all
over the support site and can't find a match to this
problem. Any help appreciated.

I think you are confused with Nvidia's AGP filter "NForce" and Nvidia's
video card "GeForce 4MX 420". These are to different devices that need 2
different drivers.

You need to download the latest Nforce AGP filter driver form Nvidia, in
order to try to correct the error message below, not the video card driver
GeForce 4MX 420

Thanks
