Im trying to upgrade my RC1 to RC2, and I keep getting a error nvatabus.sys
driver corrupt or not found message. I tried F8, and disable driver
signature, and still nothing. any ideas to fix this?

Jason,

I'm assuming you are using an NVidia chipset motherboard?

64 bit Vista?

Yes
I uninstalled the PATA, and used the default windows drivers. Now vista wont
boot, giging me that nvatabus.sys is missing, even if I try F8

Vista x64 RC1, trying to upgrade to RC2
I tried the x64 drivers, but the problem is that the device doesnt use those
drivers, and if I remove the drivers from /system32/drivers, when I boot, I
get driver missing or corrupt, and even with f8 disable signature, i cant
load vista. If I leave the drivers, then I can boot into vista with f8
disable signature check, but I cannot upgrade vista. The drivers so far im
having an issue with is nvatabus.sys and nvcchflt.sys I think when I was
installing vista, it automatically found an old copy somewhere on one of my
other harddrives if the XP 32bit unsigned version, and now I just cant get
rid of it.
Is there a way to properly uninstall these drivers, where when I boot,
windows wont search for them?
