Number the records in a report

I have created my query and created a report from the query. I want each
record to have a sequential number in the report. The numbers do not relate
to any other field in the database, just numbered items in the report.

Add a text box in the detail section:
Control Source: =1
Running Sum: Over All

I found one with a subject of "sequential numbeing" that explains it pretty
well.
