NUISANCE: Right-click menu item REMAINS on top of screen

Weird little nuisance appeared some days ago.
I run IE 6.02.2900.2180.
When I right click some internet link to get the menu, the menu appears
half transparent, and the menuitem chosen STAYS on top of all other visible
elements until I shut down. When I do the same again, no problem, it only
happens once pr. startup, but since I normally don't shut down but use
restmodus, it is a real nuisance.
Could this be some virus?

Hi Lapzilla,

Clean out you Tempory Internet Files. Tools>Internet Options-General tab,
check your settings for Tempory Internet Files. Use the option to empty the
folder when IE closes, also check the size allocation to see if it is within
the recommendations.

Killing the temp files at startup does the trick.
Doing it from WAIT modus is trickier.
