NTOSKRNL.EXE missing or corrupt ** H E L P !**

Hi all,

I was trying to install a typing software (Mavius...) and
at 27% my computer locked up, and no keys (C+A+D) could
do my any good, so I had to turn on/off the computer.
Once started before anything I get a DOS screen (NOT
BLUE) saying something ...in Windows2000\system32
\NTOSKRNL.EXE missing or corrupt?"
I tried to use ERCommander and I only see the letter C:
as my drive and no folder under it!
Can anybody help me. PLease HELP!
