NTLDR, NTOSKRNL corrupted need NTFS Access

Make a long story short.

I was replacing NTOSKRNL to change my XP Home boot screen. I created a
backup. I renamed the file incorrrectly and Now XP will not boot. I just need
DOS access to change filenames to recover from this error.

Any freeware out there that will give me access to my NTFS partitions from
DOS.

Boot from your install cd and go to the recovery console, have a look here
