So I'm playing a game on my computer when I accidentally
hit the switch on my power strip. The power to my computer
and monitor goes out completely. When I try to start up
the computer again a few minutes later, before I even get
to the windows loading screen, I get a message that says:
NTLDR is missing
Ctrl+Alt+Delete to restart
Restarting brings me to the same message every time.
I can't even start up the computer in safe mode as the
error appears before I am even prompted with the option
for safe mode. If I try starting up with my Windows
recovery CD, I get: Press any key to boot from CD-ROM. I
press a key and...
NTLDR is missing
Ctrl+Alt+Delete to restart
Does anybody have any clue as to what could be the
problem? I almost feel liking blaming Service Pack 2 that
I just installed recently and that I've seen mess up 2
other computers already. Any input or help would be much
appreciated. Thanks!
