NTLDR is missing

Help
I can't seem to get the system to boot from a CD. All I get is NTLDR is missing, press ctrl Atl Del to restart. Just repeats the same request. I am I doing something wrong in the bios set up utility?

If BIOS boot sequence is set up to check CD 1st then it should be working.
If floppy is 1st and there's a non-bootable floppy in the drive or sometimes
even a faulty floppy drive will cause this fault. But if CD is 1st then
floppy doesn't matter either way. There should also be an option in BIOS
that allows you to disable seeking floppy at boot. That option is in the
BIOS on every computer I ever dealt with anyway.

This isn't a BIOS problem. This is Microsoft telling you
that it wants a bona fide MS boot disc.
What kind of boot CD is it?
Plug "NTDLR is Missing" into Google and you'll get lots of
leads and information.

Well of course you are. There's no DOS drivers set up on your bot disk so CD
won't load. What I think Huck is asking is what kind of CD you have because
the CD should be bootable as long as you have BIOS looking to CD first there
should be no problem unless disk is bad.
