I got the "NTLDR is missing - Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart" message
when I rebooted my computer the other day. I then used my XP install
disk to boot up and went to the cmd prompt to see what files were
missing. boot.ini and ntdetect.com were in there but the NTLDR file
wasnt so I copied it onto a floppy disk and copied it onto the C:
drive, rebooted and it still didn't work. So then I tried to boot from
the XP install disk again and it gave me an error msg: "Utility
Partition not found - Press any key to boot system...". And then of
course, I hit a key and got the "NTLDR is missing" message again and I
havent been able to get to the command prompt since.
Has anyone seen this before?
Thank You,
