I have a Windows 2000 AD Domain. We use DFS in an extremely limited fashion.
I began having errors on one of the DCs that available disk space was low. I
looked at the logs we keep and could see that disk space availability has
steadily been decreasing for at least 6 months (That is when we started
tracking it).
This specific DC is configured to handle DFS replication to all other sites
and is also configured as a bridgehead server.
I began digging into what was using the disk space and found that the
NTFRS.JDB file is 1.8 GB in size.
The only thing I could find in TechNet was Q322141. But that issue was
supposedly corrected in SP4. All my DCs are running SP 4 and have been for
several months.
What can I do to knock the size of this file down?
Thanks
