NTDS KCC error

One of the DC's is getting the following error message every 15 minutes or so. I get the error message 1 time for each domain. I'm I'm able to ping all 9 DC's by computer name. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be, or where to start looking? Thanks.

Explicit bridgeheads to support inter-site replication to and from site CN=SanJose,CN=Sites,CN=Configuration,DC=company,DC=com over transport CN=IP,CN=Inter-Site Transports,CN=Sites,CN=Configuration,DC=plumtree,DC=com have been selected, but none of these servers can replicate the partition DC=apac,DC=company,DC=com.

Please use the Active Directory Sites and Services snap-in to do the following:

1. Configure servers that can support replication of the given partition as preferred bridgeheads for this transport. You can do this by modifying the corresponding server objects.

2. Ensure the server objects have an address for this transport. For example, servers performing replication over the SMTP transport must have a mailAddress attribute. This attribute is normally configured automatically after the IIS/SMTP service is installed.

In the meantime the KCC will consider all servers in this site as possible bridgeheads for this partition.

This'll be DNS, unless you have multiple domains of both 2000 and 2003, and
then it could be an issue whereby 2000 doesn't understand parts of the 2003
domain partition, and therefore requires 2003 bridgehead servers.

I've seen this in a pure 2000 domain however, and the issue was an old SMTP
replication gateway still referenced in the directory when it had been
decommissioned.

I'd look to either an incorrect Site/Subnet definition or a DNS problem.

Run the following commands and study the output carefully:

dcdiag /v /c /e
netdiag /v
