ntbackup error

In the backup status log
I get:
Error returned while creating the volume shadow
copy:80042316
Aborting Backup.

The operation did not successfully complete.

Go to Start > Run and type: SERVICES.MSC , and hit enter.
Scroll down to "Volume Shadow Copy", right-click on it
and select Properties, set the Startup type to Automatic, then click
on Start.

| I don't have this error with the other computers
| I have with the same sofeware.

OK why did this work, my other computers are not set to
Automatic and the ntbackup works OK??

Unfortunately, this solution didn't solve my similar problem. My
error message is the same, "Error returned while creating the volume
shadow copy:80042316 aborting Backup. I'm running XP Pro, today was
the first time I've tried to run the backup utility, computer is about
a month old.

Any other ideas out there????
