Hi, I have scheduled jobs with ntbackup. They never run. There's no
log file and the task object way down in administrator, local
settings, application data, microsoft, windows nt, ntbackup, data has
all my scheduled backups - the task objects, with a small red x in the
icon.

I couldn't find what that means anywhere. thanks.

Hello jmDesktop,

Check the logfile from the scheduled task in the task scheduler window.

Best regards

Have a look at the log file generated by ntbackup.exe. This is not the same
file as the Task Scheduler log file.
