NT4 to Win2000 Server Migration -- Help!

Preforming an in place migration of a NT 4 domain
controller to 2000. Corprate has created new users
accounts at the forest level and I need information on
how to handle copying the profiles on the workstation to
work with windows 2000 server. Most PC are 2000Pro/Xp
and a few 98 clients. The goal is to keep the
workstations profiles the same as they were before the
NT4 migration. Any tools to help me to do this or
information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Nick,

AFAIK, doing an in-place upgrade will not cause any
problems with the clients. As long as the domain is not
changing ( and it really does not sound like it is ) the
current user profiles will remain intact! What do you
understand under "user profiles"?

You mention that "corporate has created new user accounts
at the forest level". What does this mean?

HTH,

Cary
