Go into proporties of My Computer and click the remote
tab. Check the second box, allow other computers to share
with this one.

network is NT4.0 server, 2 W98's, 1 XP home and 1 XP pro.
Server and all workstations show XPpro machine but none
(except XP pro) can access anything on XP pro workstation.
They all get message "\\Manager(XP pro's Name) not
accessible The network path was not found". Each TCP\IP
is set with unique static IP address, common DNS address,
common WINS address and common Default Gateway on all
stations. Every station can access all shared files on all
stations except those on XP pro station. There's got to be
some obscure setting on the XP pro station that's causing
this. Any ideas?

Solved
I thought maybe the SiS 900 ethernet card or the driver was the problem. because I updated this computer from XP Home to XP pro... because I had the same problem with XP home. But no problem with XP home on another computer. So I downloaded the most current driver for my SiS 900 ethernet card. The problem went away after I loaded it.
