Nt domain upgrade effect on laptops

Hello
We are going to be upgrading our small NT domain to Win2k. We have two Nt 4.0 servers, (1) PDC & (1) Exch 5.5. We are going to do an inplace upgrade of the PDC

My question is this
Most computers/users in the domain will be unavailable as they are traveling consultants. Is this an issue? Will laptop users be able to come into the office a day or two later and continue working or will they need to reconfigure their laptops

I have upgraded a domain before but never with a bunch of mobil users. This is a very remote site and I need to be able to accomplish the task in one trip :-

Thanks

Tim

As long as you don't change the IP's or domain name they shouldn't even know
the change has taken place. Of course can't be 100% sure without the details
of your network but it should be fine. It will still look like a NT4 domain
for down level clinets.
