NT Authority System shutdown

[nctxags]

help..........when i am connected to internet, i often
get a message that says my system is shutting down
initiated by NT AUTHORITY SYSTEM. RPC terminated
unepectedly.
No one i talk to seems to know what that means or how i
can prevent it from happening.
any info will be greatly appreciated
