NT 4.0 Migration to 2000 Active Directory

I am currently planning a migration from NT 4.0 to 2000 AD. I am not
upgrading my PDC, but setting up a new domain and migrating all
services and sites to it. My question, My current domain is
"companyname" my AD domian is "companyname.org" and the netbios name
is "comanyname". I will have both domains (NT 4 & AD 2000) running at
the same time during the migration with a 2 way trust. AD is
installed in mixed mode until after the migration is done. Will the
domain names cause a problem? Both netbios names will appear as
"companyname"
Any ideas or thought would help.

I don't know the answer to the question, but would you not find it
easier to create a BDC in your NT domain, pull it off the network,
promote it, and then do the upgrade?

I have a new server for the first DC and I dont want to mess with
moving roles, plus I like the idea of a fresh install.
