NSW 2002 and NAV 2004 coexist?

Scott

I have Norton SystemWorks 2002 and was looking at getting Norton AntiVirus
2004 Pro which has a series of rebates making it free, and allows 2 licenses
(will double-check this) so I can put it on my desktop and notebook. Does
anyone know if there will likely be a problem or conflict with NAV 2002
which is within NSW 2002?

If not, I may consider going to Grisoft AVG.

Thanks.

I have used NSW 2002 with Norton Internet Security 2003 successfully. I
had to install all of NSW 2002 first, then remove its NAV 2002 component,
then install NIS 2003. Installing NSW2002 w/o the NAV component, then
installing NIS did not work. I can't say if NAV 2004 will work, but with
the new product activation, it's a good question. Try sending an email to
Symantec and ask: that's what I did.

I had problems with the Rescue disk setup which were probably complicated
or started by the NSW/NIS combo. I am just now changing over to NOD32
because I'm fed up with Symantec software problems that are only fixed by
re-installing everything.
