Notification Area Empty Except For Clock

I can not get any thing to show in the Notification Area. I have tried
changing the Notification Area in the Properties. Nothing works.

Try doing this:

1) Right click the Notification Bar
2) In the popup menu, click Properties
3) A "Taskbar & Start Menu Properties" window appears. At the bottom in the
notification area, click the button that says "Customize.."
4) Click the button that says "Restore Defaults" and see if that helps to
bring back your icons for the notification bar.

Tried that before. Tried again. Still not showing anything but the clock.

Either try to Restore an Earlier date before the disappearance of the Icons
or see if the icons been configured to Hide when they inactive, through Right
clicking on the Start Button>> Properties>> Taskbar Tab >> Click on Hide
Inactive Item and make sure they (the ones you want set to show always?.

Note: make sure the system is clean from malware and viruses!.

Get TweakUI, choose 'Taskbar and Start menu',
check 'Show taskbar notification icons'.
