I get the following notice every time I turn on computer & it's really
aggravating:
"Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office Access 2007"

How do I turn this off?

thanks.

"Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office Access 2007"

Please wait while I figure this out... Sounds like you may have more than
one version of Access on your computer, or your upgrade didn't delete the old
version properly... you could also try reinstalling Access 2007. Did you
load Office and Access SP1? Maybe some else has ideas?

This shouldn't happen when you turn the machine on. Usually this is seen
when starting Microsoft Access and you have more then one version installed
on your machine. If this is in fact when you restart your machine, I would
suggest a reinstall of Access 2007, perhaps something went amiss during
set-up. If that doesn't help and you have Vista I would browse the Vista
newsgroup and see if anyone else is experiencing this issue.

Hi again
I do not have another version of Access on my computer. I removed the
Access 2007 software & then re-installed it. The same message comes up - but
it's when I go into Outlook. What is your question on Office or SPI (I don't
know what SPI is).
I'm feeling pretty stupid right now.
